Nabiz are mostly mouth, which is mostly teeth. They instinctively sense their enemy's weakest point when attacking. Contrary to folklore, they cannot fly, but they can leap tremendous distances. Nabiz are repulsed by the color blue, which explains that color's popularity in adventurers' garb.

The Nemesis was created on 1 Augur 945 GUE, when the Circle of Four, attempted to create the Quintessence of Immortality by sacrificing a young woman named Alexandria Wolfe at the Temple of Agrippa. Lucien Kaine, the son of one of the Four, found about this and raced to the Temple in an attempt to save his love Alexandria from the Four, but he was too late. In his rage, the Four were murdered, and Lucien transformed into the Nemesis.
From then to 25 Augur 949, the Nemesis travelled around the Eastlands torturing citizens and driving them mad. He particularly focused on the "bases of operation" for the members of the Circle of Four: Castle Irondune, the Frigid River Branch Conservatory, the Steppinthrax Monastery, and the Frostham Asylum. Syovar the Strong declared that the regions surrounding these places to be called "The Forbidden Lands," and also, that those lands were, obviously, to be forbidden.
On the 25'th of Augur in 949 GUE, a Zorkastrian pilgrim managed to transform the Nemesis back into Lucien, and that ended his curse on the lands.
Lord Nimbus is mentioned in the Legend of Wishbringer as being an unsympathetic and violent God of Rain who caused the death of one of the suitors of Morning-Star.
The Nonplus method is the most basic method of arithmetic for Enchanters today. Using the Nonplus Method, you can not only add numbers, but add Words of Power from spell scrolls. In fact, the YONK (augment the power of certain spells) spell is based purely around nonplussings. Extremely elegant nonplussings, but nonplussings nonetheless..

Nymphs are small, spritelike creatures that are employed for all various sorts of labor throughout the Great Underground Empire. Many different types of nymphs exist: guard nymphs employed at Bozbarland, warning nymphs employed by certain Enchanters' Guilds, serving nymphs, and even dancing nymphs. Nymph labor is so valuable that nymph referral services have been created to assist short-handed employers.
