Everybody has been wondering if Stark was working for Scorpious and if the whole bank
robbery plan was just a blind for Scorpi to capture Crichton. It's a good idea but there are
some signifigant holes in that theory.
How did the gang from Moya manage to pull off the hiest so easily? Why didn't Natira kill
D'Argo when she captured him? Where did Stark get all that neat hardware? Who killed the
Bannik slaves and why?
But what if Stark was working for Natira?
Natira, hearing that Scorpious was dead confiscated his goods. Then she discovers he is
alive. (She didn't seem too shocked to see him when he showed up.) So she prepares the
ingot bugs to get rid of him so she doesn't have to pay him back. But then she gets ahold of
Stark. Stark tells her about Crichton, something Scorpious values above his Gammak base. If
she can get ahold of Crichton she can hand him over to Scorpious and repay her debt. Stark
tells her about Jothee. Natira locates Jothee. Perhaps she arranges to have him sold in a lot
of 10,000 Bannik slaves so that D'Argo will need LOTS of money to get him back. She
promises to free the slaves for Stark's cooperation. She sends Stark out to find Moya.
Stark uses Moya's pod to track them down and gets involved in the events of The Locket and
The Ugly Truth. He tells D'Argo about Jothee but before he can lead Moya back to the
Shadow Depository they get captured by the Plakovians. Stark sacrifices himself for the crew
because he knows his people will suffer if he lets Crichron get killed.
He rematerializes back at the Shadow Depository and explains the situation to Natira. She
gives him the plans to the bank and the robbery hardware and perhaps even devises the
bank robbery plan and sends Stark back out to find Moya. Even if Crichton isn't captured
during the robbery the ingot bugs will cripple Moya and allow Natira to capture him at her
leisure.
Stark makes telepathic contact with Zhaan and guides her to the spaceship he had "stolen".
He sets the bank robbery plan in motion successfully. Natira captures D'Argo but doesn't kill
him, that would scare Crichton off. But then Scorpious arrives at the Shadow Depository and
his presence throws a spanner in the works. Everybody becomes very nervous and, while
Natira is destracted by Scorpious, they actually manage to pull off the heist.
But Natira knows right where Jothee is, she put him there in the first place. So she arranges to
buy the slaves and allows Scorpious to think it's his own idea. Scorpious gets ahold of Jothee
and gives Natira the other 999,999 slaves to do with as she will. She has them executed to
punish Stark for frelling up the plan in the first place.
It all makes sense to me. We'll see next week.
