And another thing, I recently read this collection of taped interviews of Philip K. Dick (one of my favorite sf authors, as I'm sure you know) and he talked about an alien culture who couldn't communicate through sound, so they used light (color, really). And he said that, since we humans communicate through sound, and since all our visions of Heaven are of a "world of light", then what if these aliens come from a world of light, and their Heaven is a "world of sound"? I found it quite interesting. Anyway, I just started thinking about those darn Inter-Dimensional Beings again, and they seemed to fit in with PKD's description of aliens who communicated through color and lived in a world of light. Huh.
